How do I make the AirVPN client start automatically on restarting my Windows 7 PC?

In AirVPN preferences, I ticked the options "Start with Windows" and "Connect at startup", but this has no effect.

Possibly relevant information:

When I start the AirVPN client manually from the desktop icon, I get a User Account Controls (UAC) warning ("this program may make make changes to your computer") which has to be accepted to proceed.

- Is the automatic startup perhaps inhibited by the UAC warning?

- How can I get round this?
