e101mk2 0 Posted ... Hello,During my connection, my client regularly crashes on "flushing dns". In case of internet break or "Eddie" crash, I have internet without DNS. I have to connect "Eddie" and disconnect it cleanly to get DNS. I can ask "Eddie" to keep my DNS settings, for to avoid these annoyances? This only occurs under Windows 10.Under linux, the client works neatly. Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! Which Eddie client are you using? It shouldn't be crashing in the first place. You can see the version number on the "About" page in the client. Maybe you can try the latest experimental client. Are you using Network Lock and does this happen when it's not in use? Also, you don't need to turn Eddie back on necessarily. Just go to your networking adapters and their properties and enable "Obtain Automatically" on IPv4. That should fix it too. I think there's some DNS switching settings you can explore, but it's not recommended by Staff to change them. Otherwise it's quite expected that Eddie can't restore the first DNS entries upon crashing. If you can attach any logs, that will also be helpful, thank you . And sometimes it remains blocked to "flushing dns", and the logs does not indicate anything abnormal. Quote Share this post Link to post
