AVPNN 0 Posted ... Hi there. The entire airvpn.org site has been down for me in the UK since at least the weekend. No trouble connecting (via Eddie) to any Airvpn server, just the site. It is up when browsing to it from any UK airvpn server, but not when disconnected & browsing without a VPN. downforeveryoneorjustme.com also says it is up... but I have tried from multiple connections, machines and locations and it is down every time (on mobile too). There was also a comment to the same effect on your twitter, so I think something is going on. I found out when I forgot that my subscription was expiring and once it did, I couldn't get on the site to renew. I only managed it by connecting to TOR. So - it's not a problem for me right now, but if other people are having this experience then UK customers won't easily be able to sign up or renew. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello, can you please give us the output of the following command (while your system is not connected to the VPN):nslookup airvpn.org issued from a command line interface. This well let us know whether the name "airvpn.org" resolves into the correct IP address and which DNS your system queries. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post

Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! We can't see the final DNS your system queries because it's configured in the router, can you please check? That DNS is poisoned. The correct resolution currently is: $ dig airvpn.org +short 5.196.64.52 Fix the issue and test again: if there is no further censorship at IP address level, the problem will be resolved. We would be grateful if you could tell us which DNS is hijacking airvpn.org (if you don't want to publish in public, please feel free to contact us in a ticket or via mail). If you need suggestions about publicly accessible DNS we would recommend OpenNIC servers for their commitment to privacy and neutrality:https://www.opennicproject.org Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
