lawmanuk 2 Posted ... Using Eddie on Manjaro Linux. When I minimise it still shows in task bar instead of iconising near the clock. Can you please allow it to minimise properly without showing on taskbar. thanks 2 secret-agent and teer5 reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
teer5 1 Posted ... Certainly would be cool if it worked to minimise to taskbar in linux. Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! It would be good if you list which Eddie release you're using - do try the experimental client . If you don't know how or where to find it, then please refer to the guide in my signature, thank you. Quote Hide LZ1's signature Hide all signatures Hi there, are you new to AirVPN? caseyjp1 2 Posted ... I've reported this as well. Arch linux (latest production updates) running latest cinnamon desktop.Latest eddie beta 2.14.2. It does NOT minimize to the task bar. Same issue as the OP.Also seeing a decent sized memory leak with mono 5.10.1.16-1 (eddie showing over a gig in resident memory in less than a day's usage. --from 147meg when started.) If the client is minimized, after an indeterminate period of time, it will crash. A restart will then fail to connect until system is restarted. If the client is left as a window, this behavior doesn't occur.Eddie system report:Eddie System/Environment Report - 4/15/2018 12:17 PM UTCEddie version: 2.14.2Eddie OS build: linux_x64Eddie architecture: x64OS type: LinuxOS name: Arch Linux \r (\l)OS version: Linux Kandalf 4.15.15-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Mar 31 23:59:25 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/LinuxOS architecture: x64Mono /.Net Framework: v4.0.30319OpenVPN driver: Found, /dev/net/tunOpenVPN: 2.4.5 - OpenSSL 1.1.0h 27 Mar 2018, LZO 2.10 (/usr/bin/openvpn)SSH: OpenSSH_7.7p1, OpenSSL 1.1.0h 27 Mar 2018 (/usr/bin/ssh)SSL: ()curl: 7.59.0 (/usr/bin/curl)Profile path: /home/casey/.airvpn/AirVPN.xmlData path: /home/casey/.airvpnApplication path: /usr/lib/AirVPNExecutable path: /usr/lib/AirVPN/AirVPN.exeCommand line arguments: (3 args) path="/home/casey/.airvpn" path.resources="/usr/share/AirVPN" console.mode="none"Network Lock Active: Yes, Linux iptablesConnected to VPN: Yes, EquuleusDetected DNS: 10.4.0.1Test DNS IPv4: OkTest DNS IPv6: OkTest Ping IPv4: 29 msTest Ping IPv6: -1 msTest HTTP IPv4: OkTest HTTP IPv6: Error:curl: (7) Couldn't connect to serverTest HTTPS: Ok Quote Share this post Link to post

So if you're interested, please read this post and consider submitting a report. Otherwise I ran into some of the same issues as you, at times .
