nickg131 0 Posted ... Hey all, I apologize because I see that this has been talked about a lot but unfortunately I'm not well versed in the networking aspect of all this and so am unsure of how to fix it.I have the newest Eddie, using windows 7 and windows firewall. Network lock activated, buffers set to 256k as per another guide I found for speed issues. However, I still have mostly terrible speeds (Occasional spikes of only "bad" speeds, as opposed to "terrible"...as in I usually get 30-40mb/s and typical speed when running AirVpn is less than 100kb/s. Spikes up to 1mb/s for maybe 30s or so then drops down for 15m at a time.I see topics talking about creating "rules" and then listing lines of instructions like -ipv6 ******- something or other and that's where I get lost.I've added AirVPN to the windows firewall exception list but this didn't help.Again I apologize for my ignorance but is there someone willing to help me step by step get my speed back up?Let me know if and what of you need pictures/copied text/etc to help.I am currently heading back to work from lunch break so I apologize if I don't respond immediately when you reply. LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! I recommend trying different protocols. You can change them from within Eddie. Change to a different protocol and then re-connect to a server. Quote Hide LZ1's signature Hide all signatures Hi there, are you new to AirVPN? Many of your questions are already answered in this guide. You may also read the Eddie Android FAQ. Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you. Did you make a guide or how-to for something? Then contact me to get it listed in my new user guide's Guides Section, so that the community can find it more easily. Share this post Link to post
