codliness1 0 Posted ... HiI use Air on my PC (via Eddie client), no problems, maxes out my connection most of the time. I also own a Samsung S7. Running speed tests on it over my wifi, I max out the connection (I have 70 meg, getting around 70-74 on speed test)I've installed Open VPN for Android and generated config files, using same servers as I use on my laptop, as per instructions at https://airvpn.org/topic/11476-using-airvpn-with-openvpn-for-android/ Connecting S7, using either TCP and UDP, the speed will not go above 25mbps.Switching off the VPN, speed goes back to 70 plus.Any suggestions for fixing this? Does the S7 just not have enough CPU grunt to get full speed via the VPN? Quote Share this post Link to post

iampd 6 Posted ... Usually with mobile devices and other devices with limited processing power, speed becomes a bottleneck as far as encryption goes. Although S7 has decent amount of power, this still might be an important factor. It could also depend on the model of the modem. Quote Share this post Link to post
