spocko123 1 Posted ... Hello! I heard about your service and how you guys keep your customers super anonymous but I'm having a couple of issues with the client. I seem to be able to connect using 443 UDP but once i do the internet acts like if I'm offline and no pages show. However, connecting using 53 UDP everything seems fine but then my router randomly disconnects! I know its weird. Update: At the moment I'm connected to Sirius Server - 53 UDP. The weird thing: As soon as my download picks up my modem/router just "reset" ( all lights flash ) I have a feeling my ISP does not like the VPN Usage. This only happens when I start to download something via Youtube ( Stream) or Torrenting. Any ideas on what I should do would be fantastic! Thank you ! I'm connecting to US Servers. Does it matter what port / protocol I use? Do i have to open ports thru my modem/router? Thank you, G.T Here are my Router/Modem logs which occur after the reset process. This is a very very weird situation. As soon as i get back onto the VPN I get Router/Modem Resets. UPDATE2: I think I fixed it ! Instead of UDP I started to use TCP? NO idea what the difference is... or maybe it has something to do with my ISP? "COX" But 10mins in and the connection seems very stable with heavy downloads ( Youtube / utorrent). Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! The "Replay-window backtrack occurred" showed in the logs is a hint that you have (not necessarily always) high latency with our servers. While this may or may not disrupt the connection, using a TCP port will surely mitigate the problem, especially during the handshake, and actually you could fix the issue with a TCP connection. TCP provides full error-correction, while UDP does not. Please see the FAQ for more information. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
