In general this can imply that such VPN uses the same IP address both as entry and exit. It's an awful practice when IP addresses are shared (an essential requisite to have a better anonymity layer) and port forwarding is supported: data exchange with nodes in the same VPN will occur outside the tunnel exposing the real IP address to each other.
