cb474 0 Posted ... I'm using AirVPN with the Eddie client on Linux. When I'm connected to a AirVPN server and have the Network Lock enabled and I am tethered via USB to my cell phone (Android), I can't connect to certain sites, mainly email related. All of these sites work fine with AirVPN and Network Lock, when I'm at home connected to my cable internet connection. For example, I have a shell account that I connect to via ssh, but that doesn't work with AirVPN and when I'm tethered to my phone. Also with Yahoo email and another email web interface, I can load the login page, but when I go to login and hit return, the sites just get stuck endlessly trying to complete the login. Also, an encrypted cloud backup service I use will connect to their server, via their client application, by then won't actually sync. Also, I'm unable to post to this forum itself. I can login to the AirVPN website, start a new topic, use the form to write the question, and then when I hit the "post new topic" button the website gets stuck doing nothing for a long time until my browser finally says it can't reach the AirVPN website. But if I stop tethering and use the public wifi where I am instead, it works fine (as well as everything I mention in the previous paragraph). Other websites for regular surfing work fine, while tethered to my phone with AirVPN enabled on my laptop. Any ideas what's going on here? Quote Share this post Link to post
