spikey1973 1 Posted ... hello, is it possible to view the server use per server but over an extended time period. with this i mean when you look at server usage in the client area it is the usage now. but to be able to compare server usage it would be interesting to see how it is used over a weeks or a months time. This way you can compare it to the other local servers and connect to the best at average. Kind regards Matt Quote Share this post Link to post

Click on a server name and watch the various stats and graphs over time. Change the time resolution for every and each graph between 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and 1 year. serenacat 83 Posted ... "connect to the best at average"Not a bad strategy, but a mean 24x7xN statistic has lag over time, and does not factor time of day, positive feedback, etc.Setting up a whitelist of acceptable servers and choosing the best at connect time is intuitively more adaptive and better optimizes the collection of servers and clients. Not sure how to prove it mathematically, but could write a simulation program to "prove" with empirical runs/trials.Optionally doing a reconnect to reoptimize is maybe best left to the user to avoid disruption to activities.
