master333 3 Posted ... Hi I was a member about a year ago and using SSL 443 option gave me great speeds with Virgin. My membership expired last year and I decided 7 months down the line to renew for a 1yr subscription. Now whichever option I try I can only 1MB or 3-4MBs download speed max when I used to get 8-9MBs. Without VPN on I get 15MBs. I have read up on the forums and found out the best bet was SSH 80 or UDP 443 and I have ticked all the pass through options on my Superhub 2 router. What are my options for improving the speed of downloads with AirVPN? Anything I have missed? If there are no options software related, can anyone recommend another router I can use which does 5GHZ and 2.4GHZ connections via Wifi so I can set my Superhub 2 as a modem. I have heard this will work as an alternative for improving speed. I have also read people trying this and getting the same slow speeds anyway. Anyone's advice on this would be useful to me or if they have had any luck with good speeds with Virgin. Thanks. Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! There's a Virgin Media guide in the guides section of my new user guide. Check my signature. Maybe it'll help. I would say get a Turris Omnia, but that's ambitious haha. Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you. Did you make a guide or how-to for something? Then contact me to get it listed in my new user guide's Guides Section, so that the community can find it more easily. Share this post Link to post
master333 3 Posted ... effing amazing! I am getting 9MBs compared to 3-4MB download by looking at a guide on qbittorrent tweaking. Some changes in that program's settings has made the speed comparable to using without airvpn on!! V happy! 1 Khariz reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
