Anthony.Dellabarba 0 Posted ... Greetings staff, I just paid for a 3 month service this evening after being an inactive member for many years. Great respect for this service. I just connected to a Canada server but a certain website still detects my actual location: http://whatismyipaddress.com/ I tried 3 others when I googled the keywords: What is my IP? They show that I am from Canada, which is the actual server connected to, but the website: Whatismyipaddress shows my actual location. Is this website this good or are they very good at guessing? lol Why are they still able to detect my actual location? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Anthony. LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! Are they detecting your location or IP? You can turn off location tracking and if you're using Eddie, you can turn on Network Lock. Do check ipleak.net too. 1 Anthony.Dellabarba reacted to this Quote Hide LZ1's signature Hide all signatures Hi there, are you new to AirVPN? Many of your questions are already answered in this guide. You may also read the Eddie Android FAQ. Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you. Did you make a guide or how-to for something? Then contact me to get it listed in my new user guide's Guides Section, so that the community can find it more easily. Share this post Link to post

Thanks, Anthony. You probably have location turned on on either your computer or browser, or possibly both. I just checked it on my end and it does not pick up my location because i have them both turned off.. 1 Anthony.Dellabarba reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
