Google Thinks My Connection's Slow

My connection is over 20Mb/s, however, when I search for images, I get the attached message. Any ideas why this might be? Could it be linked to the other peculiar feature: when I go to speedtest.net it automatically tries to connect me to a server in Europe to test my speed. I'm based in the US and I'm connected to a US AirVPN server. When I test my speed on the default European SpeedTest server, understandably my ping is low and my data transfer rates are slower. When I change to a US SpeedTest server, my transfers are about as fast as my line can handle, and my ping is far more respectable.

We are not aware of what kind of tests Google performs to determine your speed, anyway nothing to be worried about. IP geolocation is not very precise on several services.
