ml25 0 Posted ... I've been using Air VPN on my Mac with no problems for the best part of a year. All of a sudden a few days ago, with no change in hardware or anything, the client has stopped connecting to servers. I can view the server list, ping times etc but every time I try and connect to use a server (whether a recommended or specific one) it goes around in a loop of 'checking route', 'connecting to server xyz', 'disconnecting'. I'm a bit confused as to what's going wrong. I have a valid subscription & account, I can use it on iOS without problem and there's no local network rules/ filters. Is there anything I need to do or has something happened on Air VPNs side? Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 672 Posted ... Hello! You should post your logs in full, not just refer to them . Perhaps you're using an older version of the Eddie client - try go to its "About" page. It should say at least version 2.10. There's a variety of threads on the solution to checking route errors as well - try turn off tunnel and DNS checking, in the Eddie preferences. ml25 0 Posted ... Hi, I've tried disabling tunnel & DNS checking which allowed me to connect but no data actually went through AirVPN (in fact no data was able to pass through - even though I don't use Network Lock). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Eddie with no luck. I'm at a loss as I can't find any information in the logs (that I can see). Any ideas on whats going wrong? LZ1 672 Posted ... Seems you've got a few networking devices such as Bluetooth ones - I would try disabling some of them, as I think too many devices can confuse Eddie sometimes. Did you try using Network Lock? Anyhow, perhaps it's best if you just download the Experimental client and use that . You can also try using different protocols - sometimes this helps when checking route fails, as in your case.
