blackmatt 0 Posted ... Same here - has been a constant problem since I moved to Win10 (was a frequent problem in Win7 but the workarounds usually resulted in a connection) but now I get a reliable connection maybe 1 in 10 attempts and the rest of the time it falls over as soon as I try to transfer any volume of data (eg launch emule) and frequently disconnects and tries to reconnect (with 'Authorization failed, connect anyway/') messages in an endless loop, with no success. I have tried the stickied workaround (basically uninstall TUN driver and reboot every time I want to access the VPN) but it makes no difference. I don't see any sign of anyone being interested in fixing this ... AirVPN on Windows is not effectively useless for me. I can use Linux to get a connection but that is a real hassle when I want to do something on the main PC. Khariz 109 Posted ... You need to switch to the experimental eddie client. You are using 2.10. You need to be using the 2.11 client. Go to here: https://airvpn.org/windows/ click experimental, then click download, and you will be using the new client. It's the only one where everything works well in Windows 10. Both of you are using 2.10.3. Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 673 Posted ... Maybe you're doing something incorrectly, since as per your logs, Eddie is struggling to find your tunnel drivers and you know, it's really hard to go through a tunnel without a driver! . Not seeing any sign of anyone being interested in fixing this, is a strange thing to say in my view, considering you're writing on a forum which has a wealth of threads about issues much like yours. It's just that we can't sticky all threads and thus you have to *search* for them ^^. But also, this forum is made up of volunteers and as such, we have no obligation to answer your queries. Thus if you want actual official support, you should go to your Client Area and submit a support ticket . Are you or the OP by any chance trying to sign in, while already connected on 2 other devices? 1 itsmefloraluca reacted to this Quote Hide LZ1's signature Hide all signatures Hi there, are you new to AirVPN? Many of your questions are already answered in this guide. You may also read the Eddie Android FAQ. Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does.
