ANSWERED OSX fresh install, air vpn client login fail

just installed the latest OSX

Installed air vpn client

 

the client hangs at checking login and I get a "Cannot login. ()" popup

 

tried beta clients too

That could be caused by a corrupt AirVPN.xml file (the configuration file). Try to delete it (with root privileges) while the Air client software Eddie is not running. Find out the location of the file by running Eddie and looking at the first log entries (click "Logs" tab). Take note of the path, shut down Eddie ("AirVPN" > "Exit"), open a terminal and type :

 

sudo rm /complete/path/AirVPN.xml

Again I have the same issue after fresh install of 10.12.3

 

Tried sudo rm /complete/path/AirVPN.xml but no such file apaprently

 

Eddie times out on login attempt

Airvpn says Cannot login . ()

looks like it solved itself for login; is it normal to get a connection on port 80 at login fom Eddie and amazon servers ??
