Problem with Installation - Cannot Find Tunnel Adapter

Above is a screenshot of the logs, as per this thread https://airvpn.org/topic/16496-cannot-find-tunnel-adapter-any-help-greatfully-appreciated/ I tried installing the TAP Virtual Ethernet Adapter through open VPN  but I am still getting the same error message, im not particularly computer literate so any help is welcomed.

Try using the experimental client, i believe it has a new TAP driver. If that fails i would suggest submitting a support ticket.

It's highly odd that Eddit cannot find either your OpenVPN or TAP drivers.  I'd try running Eddie as an administrator.  Go into the folder where Eddie is installed, right click on the executable and "run as administrator".   

 

Where do you have Eddie installed?  Is it in the standard installation path, or did you put it somewhere else?

I have tried running the client as an administrator as well as running the installation as an administrator and it made no difference, the installation path is standard, can someone just give me a really quick rundown on the initial installation steps because it feels like I must have missed something out as all the recommended troubleshooting hasn't worked from other forum threads so maybe I've done something more significantly wrong?

So i just completely started over after restarting my computer and without seemingly doing anything different than the first time around it seems to be working. Thanks guys

Sometimes that can be fixed if you restart the Eddie client completely. It can't always find the tunnel driver on the first install, I've experienced.
