ANSWERED Unable to access internet UNLESS I use AirVPN

Installed AirVPN following the UK's decision to pass the snoopers' charter.

 

All seemed to be well. Enabled Network Lock. However, now I find that if I switch off AirVPN I can no longer access the internet. Even tried uninstalling. No effect. Windows troubleshooter said I needed to reboot the router which I did but again to no effect.

 

Any ideas anyone?

You should check your DNS settings . If you're using the Stable 2.10 client there can be an issue where the settings aren't reverted correctly and thus your DNS isn't reset. Thus you can't access the net. Try go to your networking connections and make IP and DNS "obtain automatically". It's done much the same way between different versions of Windows. But I don't know which OS or version of Eddie you're using .
