Network lock makes routes outside vpn not to work

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm using Eddie 2.10.3 client in Windows 7 x64 PC, and think I have some configuration problem.

I put some IPs to go outside the vpn tunnel (in the Routes section) but when I actívate the network lock feature, the pc is not reachable from those IPs. If a disable network lock those IPs can reach the pc.

This was working in the past in a Windows XP pc, but there the network lock feature was not available in the Eddie client.

How can I fix this issue?

Thanks in advance

Hello!

Might be a bit lame, but have you tried activating NL first and then adding the routes?

Thanks for your response.

Yes, but doesn't work. Maybe I should continue using comodo as I did when using Windows XP?

If you use Comodo on anything but the Experimental client, it may cause problems . Beyond the problems of using XP itself. Do whatever works for you and that you're comfortable with though . Also, you don't *have to* use NL for things to be secure and/or work well - you can always check ipleak.net to see if your IP and DNS address is still being hidden while NL isn't on.

Sorry, if I use Comodo with the NOT Experimental Client I will have problems?

In the past I was using Comodo because network lock wasn't working in Windows XP. I would prefer not to use Comodo and use only Network lock to not have an additional program, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks!

As in, the experimental works better with third party software:)

Hi, thanks again but sorry I think I don't get you.

Why do you say that the experimental works better with third party software, if i only get problems without third party software?

Just to be clear enough, I'm using the not experimental version and i see this behaviour:

-without Comodo installed and network lock enabled: routes outside VPN doesn't work.

-with Comodo installed and network lock disabled: routes outside VPN work ok. Comodo configured like this https://airvpn.org/topic/3405-windows-comodo-prevent-leaks/

Thanks
