Network Lock breaking the internet on Ubuntu 16.10

Recommended Posts

Hi

Anyone else having an issue connecting to the internet when Network Lock is activated on Ubuntu 16.10. Works ok without Network Lock but when activated my connection drops and I can't access any sites

Does Network Lock not work on Ubuntu?

Any help would be appreciated

Hello!

Are you using the Eddie client? If so, make sure it's the experimental version.

NL is fine.

I have the same issue on Debian using the experimental Eddie client (2.11 from the "testing" package repository). Without network lock, everything works fine. With network lock, some sites break and the client is unable to update server statuses.

I can't figure out why this would be the case. There's nothing I can find in the log files and ping works perfectly.
