Veep Peep 13 Posted ... Hello, This is probably a config issue from a network noob. I believe my browser traffic is going through AirVPN because I cannot get to any site without the client active. But pings, tracert and some updates (COMODO firewall) show traffic without it up. I am using the TAP9 adapter. Does this mean I have a leak? Part 2 I also play video games through Steam - I don't think I need a vpn - can I buy pass it? If so - how? Thanks, Mr. V Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 673 Posted ... Hello! Don't worry about noob questions. Simply use network lock to be sure. However you may want to either uninstall or disable comodo. Otherwise at least make sure AirVPN and openvpn.exe are added to whatever exceptions list it has. You should also check ipleak.net for leaks. You can add addresses to an exceptions list. Ones which you don't want to go through the VPN tunnel. This is assuming you use the Eddie client . Otherwise forwarding a few ports for some of your games can work too, as well as picking low latency servers.
