Not sure what is happening.Currently connected to Nash in the Netherland and I am watching the iplayer... tried restarting etc but I can choose any server and the iplayer will still work.. Am I missing something or my vpn is not working; have they lifted geo restriction on iplayer ? I checked my ip on the net and it shows the vpn ip as expected so what the hell is going on ? I have no other internet connection active... thanks in advance Quote Share this post Link to post
foxmulder 43 Posted ... Everthing is in best order here. AIR has an unique geo-routing feature. No matter to what server you're connected to, the traffic is automatically routed through the appropriate server. You can connect to any server you want and IPlayer will still work. Maybe someone can explain this more in-depth, im lacking the right words to describe it. Regards Fox 1 onetwofree reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
LZ1 670 Posted ... Hello! I find it a little baffling, but certainly funny as well, that you seem upset about things working correctly haha. As Fox alluded to, Air employs micro-routing for certain websites and/or services; Iplayer being one of them. Thus allowing you to connect to the service regardless of which country server you pick, in relation to whatever the country of origin is, for the service you're trying to access. The only downside, is that only "supported" websites, in Airs system, can allow for this. There's a subforum around here which lists which services are supported. It's also possible to request that a service of your choosing be added to Airs supported list, however I don't know what the success rate is. Anyhow, enjoy it ^_° Sent to you from me with datalove Quote Hide LZ1's signature Hide all signatures Hi there, are you new to AirVPN? Many of your questions are already answered in this guide.
