Auto-connect at boot

Recommended Posts

I wonder if anyone could explain how to get airvpn connecting automatically on start-up, if one cannot use Eddie. I can't use Eddie on Lubuntu because of "unsatisfiable dependencies" involving mono, and in (L)ubuntu's network connections manager there is no option to "connect automatically" with a vpn. Does anyone know how to do this?

Download the experimental, it does not require Mono.

It does require Mono. However, unlike Eddie 2.10 and older versions, it is compatible with Mono 4.

Kind regards

See this:

It involves using shell scripts - no GUI. And it uses crontab.

If you have never done things without a GUI, it may be a learning curve to understand that post.
