It is a good idea to log into a server within your own country or should i log into a server of another country?

 

I'm from the US and are logging into US Texas server due to low latency compare to the other server (5 - 20 compare to 40+).

that's what i do, because of the speed, some people will say never in their country, so its really up to you.

Hello!

If you search the forum or refer to my guide, you can find answers to that question . It can't hurt to pick another country, but it really depends on what you're doing. Do remember to check ipleak and/or use network lock regardless though!

I live in Germany and use Switzerland and Romania. In the past there was a time when I used one single server only. Then I used all of Germany randomly. For me it depends on a technical thing. Didn't let me down yet.

So in other word you all saying that it is pretty much depend on what my need is. Either total privacy or good internet speed, and that either option is good because Air VPN is the best VPN service provider on the internet / world?

I think you would put up with higher latency if, for instance, you could not access Web content from the country you reside in. I'd also think that your choice of looking for servers outside your country of residence might depend somewhat on the number of available servers existing in that country.

 

Some have only 1 server, for instance.

Funny cus that is exactly what happen when i first use VPN LOL.

 

At first i was connecting to a canada server and everything seem to be working fine, but then i go back to kissmanga (manga reading site) i got an error saying that i was banned and please disable VPN. After a PC reset and change server from canada to US now everything working fine again.

 

So yeah i think i'm just going to stick to US server atm until something 'pop up' LOL.
