DNS problems OpenVPN

Hello all,

 

In the past i've used AirVPN and it was great, but now I encounter problems with DNS resolving. I run Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 LTS and once I connect with OpenVPN, I can't access websites through domain names. I can ping websites and grab the IP adres, which I can paste in a browser and access them. How and why is this happening? I tried different server in different countries, but I can only succeed in changing the DNS to Googles DNS.

 

Anyone experience the same problem?

No, but you could append an OpenVPN log file if you want us to help you fix this. Connect and right after a successful connection, paste the whole log output into spoilers. How-To on spoilers in my signature.

Yeah sorry, should have be more precise indeed. Here's my log when succesfully connecting with OpenVPN.
