Is it ok to use port TCP port 443 with SSL websites

I read somewhere that using port 443 on a VPN is more secure since traffic going through appears as if its ssl traffic.
If I enable TCP port 443 under protocols setting then I assume that vpn would use port 443 for tunneling. If I use SSL version of the website which also uses port 443 then would all the traffic go through the vpn tunnel providing double security first layer VPN tunnel second is https which goes through it ?

​Yes SSL is "more secure" in one sense, but unless you're experiencing severe censorshop, restrictions or other protocols don't work for some reason, then it's not really necessary. It can also slow down your connection even more than a VPN already might, as SSL does add even more required computation to the mix. You have to find out what exactly you're trying to achieve. There's no real reason to use SSL unless as I said, you want to hide your VPN traffic or you're facing heavy restrictions, such as in China. Otherwise, stick to UDP.
