No internet access while on VPN

Hi,

Im using AirVPN for a couple of days now with no issues however this morning when i woke up it seems that non of my devices connected to the VPN will have no internet access. I restarted everything and came with the conclusion that when im not connected everything works fine but once im connected nothing (internet related) wont work, web browsing, emails etc etc.

What is the issue here and how can in troubleshoot or fix it?

I seem to have a similar problem.

According to the AirVPN Webpanel there is a connection open and according to the pfSense control Panel the VPN connection is Online.

I don't really know where to start troubleshooting on this one as the non-vpn'ed network is working fine.

Rebooted all devices.

I have an iphone as well but guess the log wouldnt be that different from the mac

exact same thing happened there, which means the reason you don't have internet with VPN is because it ain't connected, try one of the SSH protocols or something, I'm afraid I don't quite know what the issue could be

That depends on which servers you're using. It's easily possible for some servers to have issues while all others remain problem-free.

So for that reason, it's important you give us more information, such as: what server you're using, what OS and so forth. This is easily done by

sharing your log files; which you can find the AirVPN Eddie Client program.

By the way, have any of you tried checking your IP and DNS settings? That they're set to "Obtain Automatically" on all adapters.

Likewise, if you're using network lock, have you tried restoring the windows firewall to default settings, if the above didn't work?

How about checking that your TAP drivers are okay, if you're using Windows (there's a stickied thread in the troubleshooting forum).

Or just simply tried switching to different servers? :] Especially ones outside the country whose servers are giving you problems.

There's also the checking that your AirVPN client is 2.10.3 or newer - some users run with old clients for a long time. An update was released too.

So i managed to download another config file from a server that is not a Dutch server and there is internet access. Tested on my mac and iphone not yet on the freenas but i have a feeling that that one will work as well. So ive come to the conclusion that Dutch servers are having issues ATM.

I suppose I perhaps should've said something, since that much was obvious to me personally, due to all the posts about Dutch/German servers. My bad.
