AirVPN client under Debian testing?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I've used the AirVPN client under Debian testing but it got de-installed about a week ago when running "apt-get dist-upgrade" and now I cannot re-install it. "apt-get install" says:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
airvpn : Depends: mono-runtime but it is not installed
Depends: mono-utils but it is not installed
Depends: libmono-system-runtime2.0-cil but it is not installable
Depends: libmono-winforms2.0-cil but it is not installable
Depends: libmono-corlib2.0-cil but it is not installable
Depends: stunnel4 but it is not installed

The problem seems to be that Debian testing updated Mono – it now has packages such as libmono-system4.0-cil, while the clients required v2.0 instead of v4.0.

Any hints on what to do?

Thanks, Chris

Thanks, that worked. Though I had to move the lib* files into a location where Debian finds them (such as /usr/lib/), that took some time to figure out. Might be a good idea to add a README and document it there.

Best regards, Chris
