I am very interested in subscribing to AirVPN via Tor and Bitcoin. To establish the AirVPN over TOR I tried follow the Update link in the first post. Unfortunately it ends in an error 404.

Could that link to the AirVPN over TOR instructions be renewed?

The correct new link is https://airvpn.org/tor

It is also accessible from menu "Enter" (then clicking on the Tor icon).
