ANSWERED AirVPN Client 2.10.3 not connecting with debian jessie

Recommended Posts

I was using AirVPN Client 2.9 without any problem, I upgraded to version 2.10.3 and now no server will connect.

I am using debian jessie. This is the log for one try, but it can go on for ever, repeating the conection-disconection:

Has to be on your end.  Eddie 2.10.3 is running slick on my Deb Jessie (Cinnamon)!  I know that doesn't really help you except to be clear that the client is working on Jessie for most.

Did you do an upgrade, or did you delete 2.9 and then install a fresh Eddie 2.10?  Just an idea.

@acacia

We confirm that Eddie 2.10.3 runs just fine in our Debian jessie testing boxes.

Just an idea related to Mono, did you install some newer Mono package not coming from the jessie repositories? Could you please post the output of the commands:

mono --version

dpkg -l | grep mono

issued from any terminal in your system?

Kind regards

Here is the mono version:

Mono JIT compiler version 3.2.8 (Debian 3.2.8+dfsg-10)
    TLS:           __thread
    SIGSEGV:       altstack
    Notifications: epoll
    Architecture:  x86
    Disabled:      none
    Misc:          softdebug
    LLVM:          supported, not enabled.
    GC:            sgen

eems strange though, eddie 2.9 works fine.

thank you

Ok, removed Eddie 2.9 with

apt-get remove --purge

then i deleted .airvpn from home folder; and installed Eddie 2.10

AirVPN Client Eddie 2.10 working as it should. Thank you for support!

That is what I suspected when I read this thread.  Glad you got it going!
