Staff 10125 Posted ... Hey, all I get when I go to ipleak.net is the default apache landing page. What is going on? Best, S. Impossible, ipleak.net does not even run Apache. The web site was and is working just fine. You must have landed or be landing to somewhere else. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Someone Else 0 Posted ... Indeed I connect to ::1, which is my local server. I'm on Ubuntu. Using host ipleak.net returns $ host ipleak.netipleak.net has address 54.164.36.190ipleak.net has IPv6 address ::1 Firefox then seems to use the IPv6 address (which can only be local, because my firewall drops IPv6 traffic anyways) which resolves to my machine. This might be connected to the issue someone else had here: https://airvpn.org/topic/14753-tried-to-connect-to-ipleaknet-and-it-returned-me-to-my-own-localhost-why/?hl=ipleak.net Is this a misconfiguration in your DNS records? Even google propagates the ::1. $host ipleak.net 8.8.8.8Using domain server:Name: 8.8.8.8Address: 8.8.8.8#53Aliases:ipleak.net has address 54.164.36.190ipleak.net has IPv6 address ::1$$ host airvpn.org 8.8.8.8Using domain server:Name: 8.8.8.8Address: 8.8.8.8#53Aliases:airvpn.org has address 213.152.180.16airvpn.org has IPv6 address 2001:1af8:4010:a08d:22::airvpn.org mail is handled by 0 airvpn.org. Staff 10125 Posted ... Is this a misconfiguration in your DNS records? Even google propagates the ::1. Maybe. We'll check the AAAA record. EDIT: yes. The problem has now been fixed. Within the TTL at the latest everything should be all right. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Someone Else 0 Posted ... Great. It already propagated to the Google 8.8.8.8 DNS. Quote Share this post Link to post
