New 1 Gbits/s servers available (NL)

Hello!

We're very glad to inform you that twenty new 1 Gbit/s servers located in the Netherlands are available:  Alchiba, Alcyone, Alshat, Alterf, Atik, Celaeno, Diphda Elnath, Gianfar, Hassaleh, Hyadum, Kajam, Merga, Nash, Salm, Situla, Skat, Talitha, Tarazed and Zibal.

 

The AirVPN client will show automatically the new servers, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access them through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").

The servers accept connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP.

Just like every other Air server, Alchiba, Alcyone, Alshat, Alterf, Atik, Celaeno, Diphda Elnath, Gianfar, Hassaleh, Hyadum, Kajam, Merga, Nash, Salm, Situla, Skat, Talitha, Tarazed and Zibal support OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH.

As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses.

not at all, these new servers can be turned off without impact on guaranteed bandwidth allocation. We will go on keeping this balance.

What exactly  did leaseweb do? Didnt quite get the memo

Just like with any enterprise, when they become bigger they start being more "picky" about their customers.

This is what happened with LeaseWeb.

I doubt it will happen anytime soon to Global Layer though, they are barely 10% of LeaseWeb's size, at least

double of their price for any plan, and from what it seems they operate under a mission similar to Air's.

 

 

P.S.

Seems like outgoing UDP is completely blocked on those servers, please check.

At least on Talitha as of now.

I i take the dutch servers my speed sucks. If i take the french server i got an excellent speed. Is it just me ?
