wiki.debian.org – Forbidden

I tried from different AirVPN servers (some NL, Sweden, FR and others) to visit wiki.debian.org but it says:
 

Forbidden

You are not allowed to access this!

It opens when I try it without AirVPN... also it opens via TOR...

Confirming this happens with the Nunki server in Manchester, UK.

Yup, Connected to Nekkar in the Netherlands and the site is blocked.

It works on Riguel. Just checked now.

I mainly use the UK servers only. This seems to happen on about 2-3 out of the 5 total servers. If you have trouble then I suggest switching server.

That is still the case - Debian wiki is not accessible through VPN. I'm using mainly server from Netherlands.

The explanation is that the Debian wiki hosting servers got spammed from a user of AirVPN so they have

blacklisted it.

 

@AirVPN Anything that could be done about that?

Interestingly, it seems to be only the home page that's blocked. If you go anywhere else on the site, there's no problem.

You have to write a complaint to debian.org. They are responsible for the blocking of the IPs.

By typing the address into AirVPN's route checker. It's changed now - everything is either going directly or routing through the Netherlands.
