Thanks for the updates, glad to see you are on the ball.Keep up the good work! Its a relief to hear the attack wasn't aimed at airvpn and that there are no security concerns for us as users. Once again thank you

Hello!

Clarification: the attack was and is directed against our infrastructure, but it was not against VPN servers.

Kind regards

One recent change to my system includes a manual edit to my 'host' file at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.  I needed to assign 4 DNS names to 127.0.0.1 for localhost feedback.  Does that recent change cause AirVPN client (ver. 2.8.8) problems using 127.0.0.1:3100?  I'm asking because I noticed the following line in the client log:

. 2015.03.22 03:17:43 - OpenVPN > MANAGEMENT: Client connected from [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:3100

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm getting the 503 error (service temporarily unavailable) too as the client can't retrieve systems and servers data when updating.

But if anyone's concerned about this, don't forget http://ipleak.net

A quick check shows that my ISP IP doesn't appear, so the 503 error shouldn't undermine your VPN usage.

I'm still getting it, been this way the past few days.. maybe more.   I was thinking it may have been related to the 'network lock' feature in the AirVPN client now....   VPN still works.

When it started I was getting all kinds of error messages. Then it focused on error 503 (Service Temporarily Unavailable). Then it was OK. Now I still get error 503, "connection refused" and "request timed out".

All of this in the space of a few days, using Canadian servers and with network lock disabled.

IPLeak.net is OK.

Still getting this very annoying message, under OSX, using the latest AirVPN.

Can we please get an update of what is the cause and when it will be fixed?

This finally stopped for me over the last 24hr.

Did notice over the course of these days\events that Eddie on windows doesn't actually update the config file with setting change to check\pull sever list less often, ie if you set it to 10min it'll still check every 180sec (the automatic setting) unless you manually edit the xml file and restart it.

Hi.

I don't understand. I don't know if it's related but Windows Update wanted to update stuff, so I did and since that, I got a yellow triangle on my connection icon and the same message you're talking about.

AirVpn fails continuously to connect, do you know what to do?

Thank you.
