alvi 0 Posted ... Hello, I would like to use Virginis as my exit node but I haven't been able to use this server for the last couple of days. The other servers are fine, I only seem to have a problem with this one. This is what I see in the log: I 2015.02.23 13:22:52 - AirVPN client version: 2.8.8, System: OSX, Name: 10.9.5, Architecture: x64. 2015.02.23 13:22:53 - Command line arguments (0):. 2015.02.23 13:22:53 - Operating System: Unix 13.4.0.0 - Darwin pilgrim 13.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 13.4.0: Wed Dec 17 19:05:52 PST 2014; root:xnu-2422.115.10~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64I 2015.02.23 13:22:53 - OpenVPN Driver - ExpectedI 2015.02.23 13:22:53 - SSH - Version: OpenSSH_6.2p2, OSSLShim 0.9.8r 8 Dec 2011 (/usr/bin/ssh)I 2015.02.23 13:22:53 - IPV6: Available! 2015.02.23 13:22:53 - ReadyI 2015.02.23 13:23:03 - Session starting.I 2015.02.23 13:23:03 - Installing tunnel driverI 2015.02.23 13:23:03 - Checking authorization ...! 2015.02.23 13:23:03 - Connecting to Virginis (Switzerland, Bern). 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > OpenVPN 2.3.6 x86_64-apple-darwin14.0.0 [sSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [MH] [iPv6] built on Jan 12 2015. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > library versions: OpenSSL 1.0.1k 8 Jan 2015, LZO 2.08. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > MANAGEMENT: TCP Socket listening on [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:3100. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > Control Channel Authentication: tls-auth using INLINE static key file. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > Outgoing Control Channel Authentication: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > Incoming Control Channel Authentication: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > Socket Buffers: R=[196724->65536] S=[9216->65536]. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > UDPv4 link local: [undef]. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > UDPv4 link remote: [AF_INET]46.19.137.114:443. 2015.02.23 13:23:04 - OpenVPN > write UDPv4: Can't assign requested address (code=49). 2015.02.23 13:23:06 - OpenVPN > write UDPv4: Can't assign requested address (code=49). 2015.02.23 13:23:10 - OpenVPN > write UDPv4: Can't assign requested address (code=49). 2015.02.23 13:23:18 - OpenVPN > write UDPv4: Can't assign requested address (code=49). 2015.02.23 13:23:34 - OpenVPN > write UDPv4: Can't assign requested address (code=49). 2015.02.23 13:23:36 - OpenVPN > [uNDEF] Inactivity timeout (--ping-exit), exiting. 2015.02.23 13:23:36 - OpenVPN > SIGTERM received, sending exit notification to peer. 2015.02.23 13:23:41 - OpenVPN > SIGTERM[soft,exit-with-notification] received, process exiting! 2015.02.23 13:23:41 - Disconnecting. 2015.02.23 13:23:41 - Connection terminated. I have tried to use different protocols also, but to no avail. Again: The other servers are fine, it's just this one that I have a problem with, but it happens to be the one I need. Thanks for any help. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10015 Posted ... Hello, we do not detect any problem on Virginis. Maybe it's your node that can't reach it. Can you please try the alternative entry-IP address, port 2018? Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
alvi 0 Posted ... Hello and thanks for your answer! I tried the alternative entry-IP, this is what I get: I 2015.02.25 18:29:52 - AirVPN client version: 2.8.8, System: OSX, Name: 10.9.5, Architecture: x64. 2015.02.25 18:29:53 - Command line arguments (0):. 2015.02.25 18:29:53 - Operating System: Unix 13.4.0.0 - Darwin pilgrim 13.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 13.4.0: Wed Dec 17 19:05:52 PST 2014; root:xnu-2422.115.10~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64I 2015.02.25 18:29:53 - OpenVPN Driver - ExpectedI 2015.02.25 18:29:53 - SSH - Version: OpenSSH_6.2p2, OSSLShim 0.9.8r 8 Dec 2011 (/usr/bin/ssh)I 2015.02.25 18:29:53 - IPV6: Available! 2015.02.25 18:29:53 - ReadyI 2015.02.25 18:30:29 - Session starting.I 2015.02.25 18:30:29 - Installing tunnel driverI 2015.02.25 18:30:29 - Checking authorization ...! 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - Connecting to Virginis (Switzerland, Bern). 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > OpenVPN 2.3.6 x86_64-apple-darwin14.0.0 [sSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [MH] [iPv6] built on Jan 12 2015. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > library versions: OpenSSL 1.0.1k 8 Jan 2015, LZO 2.08. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > MANAGEMENT: TCP Socket listening on [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:3100. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > Control Channel Authentication: tls-auth using INLINE static key file. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > Outgoing Control Channel Authentication: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > Incoming Control Channel Authentication: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > Socket Buffers: R=[131072->65536] S=[131072->65536]. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > Attempting to establish TCP connection with [AF_INET]46.19.137.115:2018 [nonblock]. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > TCP: connect to [AF_INET]46.19.137.115:2018 failed, will try again in 5 seconds: Can't assign requested address. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > SIGUSR1[soft,init_instance] received, process restarting. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - OpenVPN > Restart pause, 5 second(s)! 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - Disconnecting. 2015.02.25 18:30:31 - Connection terminated. It's really odd, I can connect to the swiss vpn on my phone using the same WiFi my Mac is connected to. The Mac itself can connect to any other vpn. Just not to the swiss one. alvi 0 Posted ... Hello again, It's fixed! I had to restart my computer and this fixed the problem. How embarrassing. Sorry if I waisted anyone's time. Quote Share this post Link to post
