AirVPN Client Eddie 2.8.8 with DNS leak. How to fix? (win7)

Hi,

 

using Eddie 2.8.8. on win7 I have a DNS leak.

 

I downloaded a fix for Open VPN from www.dnsleaktest.com, but it doesn't find Open VPN on my pc.

How to fix the leak?

Hello!

 

Please make sure that "Force DNS" is ticked in "AirVPN" -> "Preferences" -> "Advanced".

Thanks for the quick response I have a Mac Book Pro. Do you happen to know how I would fix it on the Mac OS?

I presume you mean 'DNS Switch Mode' = resolvconf (Linux Only)?

We really meant "Force DNS", which is only available on the client for Windows, because the topic of the thread pertains to Windows 7.

Yes sorry. forgot I was on my Arch Linux box

 

I just had the same issue and I presumed Force resolvconf is the same as Force DNS in the windows version.
