Guest JWW Posted ... Sorry, I'm struggling to understand how the Network Lock works. I'm using the Tixati Bittorrent client and port forwarding via AIR. I've entered that port number into Tixati. Network Lock seems to be working via Windows Firewall correctly - when I'm connected to the VPN application, update checks, browser and e-mail all work. When I disconnect EDDIE I have no internet access. So far so good. However, when I start Tixati, Windows Firewall is asking me to allow / disallow it which I don't understand. Surely Tixati should be using the AIR connection which is already allowed through the firewall. Why am I being asked for permission? No other app is doing that. Thanks. Staff 10015 Posted ... Hello! We just tested again Air client Eddie 2.8.8 on Win 7 x64. Air client correctly disables Windows firewall notifications during network lock. Please:- open Windows Firewall control panel- send us a screenshotof the Windows Firewall control panel- activate Network Lock from Air client- again send us a screenshot of the Windows Firewall control panel- deactivate Network Lock from Air client- once again send us a screenshot of the Windows Firewall control panel You can also do that on a ticket if you prefer so for privacy reasons.
