OpenDNS leak

I just upgraded my router and am using OpenDNS's addresses (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) but am having issues with them leaking. I am just curious how big of a security risk this is, as OpenDNS is showing on ipleak.net regardless of what I do. The only thing that is working so far is if I put in AirVPN's DNS (10.4.0.1) directly into my router's DNS settings, though I've found it makes browsing very slow.

 

I connect to AirVPN using the Viscosity client and have found that its DNS setting (Edit Connection > Networking > DNS > Enable DNS Support/DNS servers) does not do anything at all. I've tried entering 10.4.0.1 into the DNS server field and it seems to be completely ignored, as OpenDNS will still appear under ipleak.net.

If you cannot see your ISP on the page of ipleak.net or https://dnsleaktest.com/ 

then you don't have any DNS leak.

I guess that you're free of DNS leak as you see only  openDNS address.

 

PS some programmes (i.e.skype) can expose your real ip because they circumvent vpn tunnel. But it has nothing to do with openDNS.
