Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! We're very glad to inform you that a new 100 Mbit/s server located in Latvia is available: Schedir. The AirVPN client will show automatically the new server, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificates/key generator (menu "Client Area"->"Config generator").The server accepts connections on ports 53, 80, 443, 2018 UDP and TCP.Just like every other Air server, Schedir supports OpenVPN over SSL and OpenVPN over SSH.As usual no traffic limits, no logs, no discrimination on protocols and hardened security against various attacks with separate entry and exit-IP addresses. Why do you think Latvia would be better than NL for privacy? Quote Share this post Link to post
snaggle 25 Posted ... Hi, I appologize for my ignorance but can you elaborate on this, are you refering to the general erosion of privacy and increasing state surveillance or at least our awareness of it. Quote Share this post Link to post

Why do you think Latvia would be better than NL for privacy? Given we live in a tyrannical surveillance state that is recording every packet possible on the internet, probably directly targeting SSL/SSH to brute force and reconstruct plain text at a later date. AirVPN is a bulletproof vest. Just don't blame them for using internet explorer on a broken Operating System. If anything NL to me would have better anonymity since NL IP's have a reputation built up on a variety of different users browsing patterns.Be one of the few or one of the many. 1 Lee47 reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
