Problem Eddie 2.7 with LINUX MINT 17

I have a problem with Eddie AIRVPN 2.7 on Linux MINT 17 (picture)

the interface is corrupted.
Eddie worked fine with the  2.6 version.
Anyone has had the problem ?
Is there a solution ?

Hello!

 

It could be a problem related to the Mono framework, could you please try (if you haven't already done so) the portable version which includes a different Mono version and has been reported as working in Mint 17? We're going to test Linux Mint 17 in the very near future, but please feel free to report back.

the portable  version (+ mono)  does not work, shame ... (display as corrupt)

I have experienced the same problem. Eddie worked just fine until I installed Microsoft Office using PlayOnLinux. During the installation of the office software a windows version of mono was installed. After that the interface in eddie got corrupted.

 

I removed ~/.wine to test it and the interface was good again.

after restarting my computer the interface is corrupted again.
