Internet will only connect with airVPN active on Mac

Hi all,

 

I have been using Air VPN for over a month now with no issues, until today.  When ever I disconnect from the program, I lose the internet connection completely.  I am using OS 10.9.4.

Can you please check DNS settings? Chances are that they remained set to VPN DNS (ex. 10.4.0.1) for some reason. Since VPN DNS is accessible only inside the VPN, that could explain your problem. If confirmed, just set your system to query your favorite DNS (we recommend that you have a look at http://opennicproject.org ). Reference to change DNS servers in Mavericks: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14159

I had this exact same problem with the previous versions of the "Eddie" client. However the current release 2.4 has not given me one single problem. To fix your problem follow the steps on the link below. I had to do this 3 times while trying out the new Eddie beta releases.

 

Scroll down to the Mac instructions. Also, one you delete the connection, you add it again by just simply hitting the plus sign and going through the steps o step it up. The process should take no longer than 30 seconds.
