New server available: Sirius

Hello!

We're very glad to inform you that a new 1 Gbit/s server located in the United States is available: Sirius.

The AirVPN client will show automatically this new server, while if you use the OpenVPN client you can generate all the files to access it through our configuration/certificate/key generator (menu "Member"->"Access without our client").

The server accepts connections on port 53, 80 and 443 UDP and TCP and offers a theoretical maximum of 500 Mbit/s per user. It has a 1 Gbit/s dedicated port.

As usual, no traffic limits and no logs.

Could you please tell me the "server-ip" (not the "exit-ip" that is shown) for this new Sirius server?

This information for all your servers should be up on your web site.

In order to obtain all relevant data about our servers, please use our configuration generator (menu "Member"->"Access without our client").

Good to see that you guys don't want to sit pretty with increasing customer base ( I assume ); but ensuring more bandwidth is available to support them..

Since US tends to geographically restrict most of their content worldwide, additional US based servers are always a bonus :cheer:

Is Serius Server down today (28Dec2011) ?

Tried connecting using the OpenVPN software but none of the websites are opening.

Was able to successfully connect to the German server and surfing is okay..

Can someone confirm please ? Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. A few hours ago Sirius OpenVPN daemon on port 443 UDP suffered a problem. Therefore Sirius was reachable on ports 53 TCP/UDP, 80 TCP/UDP and 443 TCP, but not 443 UDP.

Now it is fixed. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further issue.
