Users online Status

I have been noticing that the number of users online does not appear to have spiked since 3 devices are now allowed.  I am almost always a single device user.  I have a simple question:

 

If a user has two devices online will the Status tab indicate one user (same single account) or will that actually be two users in the status count?  Just trying to understand what is being indicated in the counts around here.  Thanks.

Two users will be on the count.
