oyashiro 0 Posted ... Been searching the forums for an answer to my problems but have been unable to find one so decided to make a new topic.Last night I went to connect and I got an already connected error. Looked to make sure I didn't have another instance of Airvpn running and I didn't but I went ahead and rebooted just in case. Continued having a problem so I just decided to try again today. Now I'm able to get into the server select menu but whenever I select one it shortly closes and I get a failed to start pop up. Anyways my error logs are posted below I would greatly appreciate any response as to why I'm having problems, my membership is about to expire and I would love to buy another year if I'm able to get this issue resolved. 2/3/2014 - 4:33 PM AirVPN client version: 1.8 2/3/2014 - 4:33 PM Reading options from C:\Users\The Beast\AppData\Roaming\AirVPN\Air\1.0.0.0\AirVPN.xml 2/3/2014 - 4:33 PM OpenVPN bundle version: OpenVPN 2.3.0 2/3/2014 - 4:33 PM OpenVPN current version: OpenVPN 2.3.0 2/3/2014 - 4:33 PM Ready. 2/3/2014 - 4:33 PM Login... 2/3/2014 - 4:33 PM Already connected. 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Login... 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Login success. 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Contacting service... 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Connecting... 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM OpenVPN 2.3.0 x86_64-w64-mingw32 [sSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [PKCS11] [eurephia] [iPv6] built on Jan 8 2013 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Socket Buffers: R=[8192->8192] S=[8192->8192] 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM UDPv4 link local: [undef] 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM UDPv4 link remote: [AF_INET]46.19.137.114:443 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM TLS: Initial packet from [AF_INET]46.19.137.114:443, sid=d9b9c818 dff8fd5b 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM VERIFY OK: depth=1, C=IT, ST=IT, L=Perugia, O=airvpn.org, CN=airvpn.org CA, emailAddress=info@airvpn.org 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM VERIFY OK: nsCertType=SERVER 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM VERIFY OK: depth=0, C=IT, ST=IT, L=Perugia, O=airvpn.org, CN=server, emailAddress=info@airvpn.org 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Data Channel Encrypt: Cipher 'AES-256-CBC' initialized with 256 bit key 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Data Channel Encrypt: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Data Channel Decrypt: Cipher 'AES-256-CBC' initialized with 256 bit key 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Data Channel Decrypt: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Control Channel: TLSv1, cipher TLSv1/SSLv3 DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA, 2048 bit RSA 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM [server] Peer Connection Initiated with [AF_INET]46.19.137.114:443 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM SENT CONTROL [server]: 'PUSH_REQUEST' (status=1) 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM PUSH: Received control message: 'PUSH_REPLY,redirect-gateway def1,dhcp-option DNS 10.4.0.1,comp-lzo no,route 10.4.0.1,topology net30,ping 10,ping-restart 60,ifconfig 10.4.23.246 10.4.23.245' 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM OPTIONS IMPORT: timers and/or timeouts modified 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM OPTIONS IMPORT: LZO parms modified 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM OPTIONS IMPORT: --ifconfig/up options modified 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM OPTIONS IMPORT: route options modified 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM OPTIONS IMPORT: --ip-win32 and/or --dhcp-option options modified 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM do_ifconfig, tt->ipv6=0, tt->did_ifconfig_ipv6_setup=0 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM open_tun, tt->ipv6=0 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM CreateFile failed on TAP device: \\.\Global\{2B4081FC-44AB-490E-89BB-5FE02F6695E3}.tap 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM All TAP-Windows adapters on this system are currently in use. 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Exiting due to fatal error 2/3/2014 - 4:47 PM Failed to start. Staff 10014 Posted ... Hello, please enable the TUN/TAP adapter (the interface used by OpenVPN) in the Control Panel and make sure that you run only one instance of OpenVPN. The interface name is "TAP-Win32 Adapter ...". See also here: https://airvpn.org/topic/9988-airvpn-failed-to-start/?do=findComment&comment=13089 Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
