Can my router be VPN'd?

Hello there. 

Look, I'm not tech savvi as I'm dyslexic and don't read too well, so please, can anyone tell me if it's possible to use VPN on my Netgear Super Hub 2 router?  If so, can anyone direct me to where the info lies please?

Disclaimer: we don't know this router.

 

From information and technical specifications gathered from the www (therefore NOT from our direct experience) it seems that there's apparently no way to run OpenVPN in it. If that is confirmed, you will need to connect directly from your computer.

Follow up question, what market readily available commercial "standard" router would be able to run the open VPN client on it?

If you are looking for a router under 90$ I would suggest the Asus RT-N16. I have had great success with it. Load tomato firmware. Good guide here: https://airvpn.org/topic/6652-airvpn-tomato-configuration-step-by-step-guide/
