Can't access websites using AirVPN client

I'm running Win7 32-bit. Using the AirVPN client, I cannot manage to access any websites.

 

It says I'm connected, but I can't connect to any website (except for airvpn.org). Using the Sweden servers, if I type in google.com, Firefox will say "waiting for google.se" meaning some information is going through...

 

The client also always starts the session time with 02:00:00 for some reason.

 

Can I get some advice? I can use the SSL tunnel successfully however it is a pain in the ass to switch servers (how come there isn't a client for this?).

OpenVPN over SSL connections will be probably supported in the final Eddie release (the next client version). Remember that you should never use OpenVPN over SSL except for extreme cases. This is an additional, free of charge service originally designed for China only.

 

In order to easily switch servers over SSL, first prepare all the files you need for all the servers you wish to connect to, so that you can switch them in a matter of seconds. The Configuration Generator accepts multiple choices so you will need just 30 seconds for the initial generation (once and for all), we fail to see why it should be such a pain for you.

 

About your problem, it might be a DNS issue, since the logs look just fine. While your system is connected to a VPN server, please open a command prompt (with administrator privileges), issue the following commands and send us the output:

 

ipconfig /flushdns

tracert google.com

ping 10.4.0.1

ping 8.8.8.8

Initially I was using the client for all my connections, but then it completely stopped working. As of now, it also does not work. It says I am connected. I can ping any website. Some of the time, I can also access airvpn.org, but in this case I had to disconnect in order to post this reply.

 

The pain is not in the generation of the config files. The pain is renaming each config file to stunnel.conf, then running a command for openvpn when I want to change servers. I don't mean to sound entitled but it seems like a trivial thing to automate and I'm not familiar enough to do it myself.

 

The results are below. As you can see everything looks fine, however I can't use the connection for anything.
