Not working VPN on my router

Recommended Posts

Hi

I can not get this AirVPN to work, on my Neatgear router.

I have testet web AirVPN and that is working, but I can not get it working on my Netgear 3700 with DD-WTR router with Firmware Version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) std - build 14896.

No green light at buttom web page.

Only copy ----- BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- to the end of ----- END CERTIFICATE----- at all three

I do not have these settings, rest are ok.

- Set Hash Algorithm to "SHA1"

- Select "Enable" Advanced Options

Select "Enable" NAT

Select TLS Cipher to "AES-256 SHA"

Thanks

Brgds

I have done all in "handbook" as show here https://airvpn.org/ddwrt/

Router info

Router Name - DD-WRT

Router Model - Netgear WNDR3700

Firmware Version - DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) std - build 14896

I can not get this green connection light at buttom at web site.

My settings are just like the handbook, downloaded server from US(AirVPN_US-Pavonis_TCP-443.ovpn), right IP in right place & right port nr, and have copy all

Open up "ca.crt" and copy all of the contents into the CA Cert window.

Open up "user.crt" and copy only and including "----- BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- to the end of ----- END CERTIFICATE----- " into Public Client Cert.

Open up "user.key" and copy all of the contents into Private Client Key.

Select "Save" at the bottom of the page then "Apply Setting"

Still no green light, what could be wrong?

But there are some settings that I do not have in my router, as these

Set Hash Algorithm to "SHA1"

Select "Enable" Advanced Options

Select "Enable" NAT

Select TLS Cipher to "AES-256 SHA"

BUT if I install & use web AirVPN it is ok, but need AirVPN in my router :-)

Any help I would be great appreciation!

Thanks!

I am tryng this server "Pavonis".

I have gone thrue this https://airvpn.org/ddwrt/ "How to" many times. And I can not get it more right, but still no green light.

There must be something I have missed?

Hello!

Your firmware build is very old and you might probably need to upgrade. Also, can you please send us the (attempted) connection logs?

Kind regards
