Connection-Disconnection loop

The AirVpn support surrended, saying me that they "have not a solution" for my problem, and that connection through proxies is not granted by airvpn...

Strange, I am hoping this is not the case. Perhaps they meant something else because that's not what they said a few years ago:

https://airvpn.org/topic/54-using-airvpn-over-tor/?p=920

https://airvpn.org/topic/54-using-airvpn-over-tor/?p=934

If they did say that, this is one of my dislikes/fears of this great provider growing to much:

https://airvpn.org/topic/10034-ill-try-to-be-honest-for-those-looking-into-a-vpn-provider/?p=12604

Hello,

there is no contradiction. We confirm that we can't be held responsible for external proxies or any other service that we do not operate. The fact that when possible we try to provide support for external services, programs or we teach basic things unrelated to our service in private is a courtesy which goes well beyond the scope of any customer service and has nothing to do with the size and the growth rate of AirVPN. Under no circumstance a courtesy must be considered a duty.

Kind regards

It is a terrific courtesy that the staff provide. The service and product is the best.

Chatted with a few Tor users. They suggested looking at server logs which I told them do not exist.

Since we were able to re-create this on 2 VM's and a host, the hypothesis is it's an issue with the XP TCP/IP stack since that changed considerably with Vista.

I suppose that could rule out the XP TCP/IP stack issue. However, I wouldn't rule it out completely until someone else can confirm.

Sorry, I do not have a Vista host or VM to try it out.

OpenVPN over Tor works for me on Vista using the scheme I described here:

https://airvpn.org/topic/10191-should-use-outboundbindaddress-for-openvpn-over-tor/?do=findComment&comment=13215

So I have the tor.exe program bound explicitly to the IP address of the real IP adapter, as explained there. I have not tried it without this, since I think this is a dubious thing to do, for the reasons I gave in that post.

I have never tried OpenVP over Tor on XP. Maybe sometime if I have time to kill.
