Schandor 0 Posted ... I want to follow the description given in https://airvpn.org/ssl/ but it does not work. Can someone please explain?I have three files, two .ovpn and one ssl file. On OS X I type in ./stunnel AirVPN.....SSL-443.ovpn -SSL AirVPN.....SSL-443.sslIsn't this right? If I use Tunnelblick alone (just UDP-443), is the connection safe anyway? I mean, is the incoming traffic also routed through the tunnel? Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10017 Posted ... Hello! We're sorry, Tunnelblick can't be used to connect OpenVPN over SSH or SSL. You need to run stunnel first from one shell, and then OpenVPN from another, please see the instructions. Adding an additional SSL or SSH layer is an option we introduced for special cases, i.e. when OpenVPN connections are disrupted, as it happens in China. In every other case it should be avoided because it does not add security and hits performance. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
