Google location detection

I am using AirVPN on a pfsense router with 3 concurrent VPN connections (to 3 different countries). Policy based routing will send the traffic through different VPN tunnel, depending on the destination IP. How does the Googple location detection work?

Currently my location is wrong and I would like to correct it (in the router).

You want to correct google by adjusting something in your router?  That doesn't make sense.

 

If you allow geolocation within your web browser that will reveal your real location unless you're using an add-on that spoofs browser geolocation.

 

Otherwise google is just using IP geolocation databases like anybody else.  If the databases are wrong your only hope is to contact the database to correct them.

Also, when you are logged in to your Google account which was created from

your previous location, the cookies will apply to all of their services and most

likely locate you based on your Google account settings.
